Bob strongly believes in participating in ongoing career development activities. He is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a designation that places Bob in an elite group; less than 4% of REALTORS have earned a CRS designation. Additionally, Bob is a Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI); an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®); an e-PRO REALTOR® savvy in Internet technology and he is a licensed Associate Broker. Bob’s bachelor’s degree is in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. Continuing education includes Columbia University’s Sales Management Graduate Program and several other programs relating to improving his sales, marketing and negotiating skills and performance.

Bob received the coveted “Code of Ethics” award from the Harrisonburg/Rockingham Association of Realtors. Additionally, the association presented him with their Spirit award and a special Service award. He served as Vice President for the association and remains active serving on several committees.

Prior to choosing real estate as his career in 1996, Bob headed up the sales and marketing departments for several national and international consumer products firms. Originally from Kansas City, his prior employment resulted in relocations to Los Angeles, Dallas, Denver, Omaha, Philadelphia, Connecticut and finally to Harrisonburg in 1987. Bob found the relocation process was much easier with the right Realtor. Bob’s clients benefit from his professional background and the personal experience he gained in buying and selling homes during his own relocations.
